• Facilitate patient access to prescribed Eisai products by engaging with healthcare professionals and educating internal Eisai staff.
• Act as the main point of contact for all Oncology Access and Reimbursement education and patient support within a designated area.
• Offer extensive expertise in assessing complex payer issues.
• Assist the Oncology and Neurology business units by providing education on access and reimbursement.
• Take on the role of lead field trainer for ARMs in the respective region and mentor new members of the Access and Reimbursement team.
• Identify the underlying causes of access challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to present care access options.
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required.
• Preferred experience of at least 4 years with buy & bill for a medical benefit infused product.
• Familiarity with various elements of Medicare and local MAC policy is preferred.
• Proven understanding and experience across different payer segments, including Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and other Federal programs.
• Prior experience in Oncology or Neurology is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefit design, coverage policies, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Experience with Patient Support Programs and other access and support initiatives for patients.
• A valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards are required.
• Candidates must live within the designated area and be able to travel to meet business needs.
• The ability to safely and successfully operate a motor vehicle is essential.
