Polish Language Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define Canva’s voice throughout all aspects of the product for Polish users.

• Translate and tailor essential content for users who speak Polish.

• Cultivate relationships with localisation vendors and language collaborators.

• Create and uphold Polish style guides, glossaries, and best practices for localisation.

• Assess and critique the quality of translations across product and marketing channels.

• Spot opportunities for enhancing localisation quality and user experience.

• Address linguistic and cultural inquiries from Canva stakeholders.

• Assist in QA processes and manage localisation bugs and testing outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in localisation, internationalisation, content, or language management roles.

• Profound understanding of Polish language and cultural subtleties.

• Experience in reviewing localisation quality across various platforms.

• Knowledge of CAT tools and localisation processes.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in utilizing data, feedback, and user insights to enhance quality.

• Experience in SaaS, product, or tech settings is highly regarded.

• Previous role as a Language Lead at an LSP or software company (not mandatory).

• Familiarity with Smartling or comparable CAT tools (not mandatory).

• Experience in copywriting or transcreation (not mandatory).

• Knowledge of SEO and organic growth strategies (not mandatory).

• Design experience or strong visual sensibilities (not mandatory).

• Experience with AI-assisted localisation workflows (not mandatory).

• Higher education in linguistics, literature, localisation, or related areas (not mandatory).
