Policy Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the organization's strategy for state and federal policies.

• Serve as the organization's representative to policymakers.

• Perform research and conduct thorough policy analysis.

• Compose briefs, letters, and implement advocacy initiatives.

• Engage with leadership, advisors, members, and partners.

• Facilitate committee activities.

• Monitor and analyze pertinent legislation and regulations.

• Create and execute policy strategies that align with the organization's objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• An appropriate graduate or professional degree.

• At least 5+ years of experience in public policy, advocacy, and strategic campaign development.

• Experience in coalition building and community organizing.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills.

• In-depth knowledge of agricultural and environmental public policy matters.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
