Podiatrist Physician Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Reviewing medical documentation

• Crafting clear clinical summaries

• Delivering independent medical insights in response to specific inquiries from clients

• Evaluating medical necessity, appropriateness of care, causation, impairment, treatment suggestions, functional capacity, and outcomes related to podiatric issues and treatments

• Engaging in peer-to-peer discussions as needed

• Responding to client-specific queries regarding podiatric diagnoses, treatment strategies, surgical procedures, and functional results

• Utilizing current clinical guidelines and standards of care in all evaluations

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)

• Preferred Board Certification or Board Qualification in Podiatric Medicine and/or Surgery

• Valid, unrestricted Louisiana podiatry license

• Active clinical practice or recent experience in podiatric medicine and surgery

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience post-residency

• Preferred experience in assessing foot and ankle conditions, surgical interventions, and cases of functional impairment

• Capability to attend mandatory orientation and training sessions

• Maintain all relevant licenses, certifications, credentials, and professional qualifications required to perform reviewer services
