This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Assist in the effective implementation of Print On Demand labeling processes for various products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute efficient labeling solutions that adhere to quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Aid in ongoing improvement initiatives and develop labeling solutions.
• Offer technical expertise in labeling design, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Create and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Validate processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Enhance team capabilities and support colleagues while contributing to various projects.
• Manage label design, redline updates, database modifications, and printing technologies.
• Address production demands and New Product Introduction (NPI) deliverables across FSD.
• An advanced degree with no prior experience required, or a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in packaging/labeling engineering, ideally within pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated industries, or relevant work experience directly related to label design and updates in the aforementioned fields.
• Preferred areas of study include Packaging Engineering, Label Design, or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of label design and redline updates, database modifications, Zebra printers, packaging materials, and associated equipment.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
• Experience in labeling validation and documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Capability to develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage various operational requests.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as PPI, Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Proficient in Loftware Cloud or CodeSoft and related design software.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Database to modify relevant fields for label updates or changes.
• Familiarity with .nibl (Nice) and .ser (Loftware spectrum) label formats is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and effectively collaborate with IT, Labeling and Packaging SMEs, Project and Product Managers, and Quality/Regulatory teams.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• May require occasional travel and working in production environments (GMP) to support production needs or NPI deliverables across FSD.
