This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Portfolio Lead for the Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for ensuring quality execution and serves as the ultimate authority on delivery assurance for our projects.
• Acting as the initial point of escalation, your primary focus will be on project health, guaranteeing that all projects are completed on schedule and within budget, adhering to a strict “no surprises” policy.
• You will collaborate closely with Project Managers in the field while relaying essential project insights to Delivery Managers and the Account team.
• Ensure that new projects are ready for delivery, including sales handoff, talent fulfillment and onboarding, and establishing baseline governance.
• Take ownership of identifying, assessing, and managing project-level risks within your assigned portfolio.
• Conduct weekly evaluations of delivery health and maintain a consistent reporting schedule, both for clients and internally.
• Identify risks related to costs, schedules, and value realization; assist in mitigation planning, and diligently track and update Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs.
• Manage project financials, including revenue, margins, and forecasting.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for intricate project obstacles, intervening before these issues affect the broader client relationship, while exercising discretion and independent judgment.
• Develop and execute early mitigation strategies for flagged risks.
• Provide transparent, data-driven escalations and status updates to Delivery Managers and the Account team to ensure alignment with project realities.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field; or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing multi-project portfolios.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience in coordinating efforts across client and internal stakeholder groups.
• A robust understanding of project management, including methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to link portfolio financials, project execution, and business value realization into coherent management reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and the capability to synthesize insights from multiple data sources at the portfolio level.
• Excellent facilitation and virtual collaboration abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving company and manage a diverse range of challenges, deadlines, and contacts.
