PMO Manager – Artificial Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee project and portfolio management initiatives for AI programs, encompassing planning, status monitoring, risk assessment, and reporting.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and peer functions to ensure efficient project delivery and communication.

• Implement both Traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies to manage timelines, dependencies, scope, and resource coordination.

• Utilize collaboration and project management tools such as VSTS, Jira, and other relevant platforms to enhance visibility and accountability.

• Create and uphold project governance documentation, standards, and procedures.

• Manage team members while fostering continuous improvement in project execution practices.

• Clearly convey project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is necessary.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience is essential.

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, or Management Information Systems is preferred.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Proven knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and procedures is required.

• Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders and leaders, as well as IT project planning, delivery, and execution using both Traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies.

• Proficiency in VSTS, Jira, and/or other team/project collaboration tools is necessary.

• Capability to work within and lead a team while effectively communicating and coordinating with peer teams.

• Ability to develop, document, and propose new policies and procedures.

• Proven ability to communicate verbally and in writing across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• Willingness to travel as needed for business and be available on-call.

• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
