PL/SQL Developer PL Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance Stored Procedures utilized in analytical operations and data integrations for Business Intelligence (BI) environments.

• Construct high-performance SQL queries to facilitate reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and management dashboards.

• Execute and uphold ETL processes and data loading workflows.

• Collaborate with BI teams and business units to gather requirements, analyze scenarios, and outline technical solutions.

• Examine, diagnose, and resolve issues concerning query and database process performance.

• Guarantee the quality, integrity, and consistency of data provided in analytical settings.

• Assist in the maintenance, development, incident resolution, and ongoing enhancement of database processes.

• Participate in the optimization of data structures and the advancement of the organization's analytical workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

• Proficient knowledge of T-SQL for the development, maintenance, and optimization of complex queries.

• Experience in manipulating data through SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.

• Development and upkeep of Stored Procedures, Functions (both scalar and table-valued), and database objects aimed at analytical processes and integrations.

• Understanding of data modeling for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse environments, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.

• Experience in importing, exporting, and processing CSV, XLS, TXT files, and other formats utilized in data integrations.

• Knowledge of performance analysis and database tuning, encompassing execution plans, index creation, partitioning, and query optimization.

• Understanding of Business Intelligence architecture, KPIs, reports, and analytical dashboards.

• Experience in technical documentation, code standardization, and application of development best practices.

• Capability to collaborate closely with business areas and BI teams to gather requirements and deliver strategic data.

• Analytical, consultative, and proactive disposition with the ability to identify enhancements and propose solutions that align with business needs.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to engage with users and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
