This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist in the technical design and execution of PTC products, including the integration of PTC products with other software.
• Create and uphold Windchill build files utilizing the Simple Change Framework.
• Engage with clients to identify goals and outline design alternatives.
• Diagnose and resolve performance anomalies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to formulate user requirements, technical specifications, performance considerations, and data architectures.
• Develop, test, and implement PLM programs using industry best practices for customer delivery.
• Create, test, and execute PLM migrations to facilitate our customers' digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to predict and evaluate the future needs of clients and propose solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain PTC solutions.
• Assess system performance and implement optimizations.
• Document system components for knowledge sharing.
• Educate and mentor customers/users to enhance their tool proficiency.
• Provide ongoing support to consultants and clients while understanding the business challenges faced by the client’s organization and industry.
• Leverage technical or business expertise to create high-quality deliverables.
• Aid in the engagement team's operations and management while functioning as an integrated team member.
• Assist in the creation of engagement work plans, schedules, and performance meetings.
• Over 3 years of experience with PTC's Windchill PLM platform.
• Previous experience as a Windchill technical consultant.
• Background in transforming existing Windchill PLM Systems.
• Experience in generating system and solution documentation, including FDD and system architecture design.
• Proficient in APIs, Java, XML, Info*Engine Tasks and Web objects, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and HTML.
• Strong grasp of the LoadFromFile framework.
• Knowledge of SCF is essential.
• Proven understanding of legacy systems retirement and data migrations.
• In-depth knowledge of Windchill systems administration and system change control processes.
• Experience with Windchill Services, Properties, File Vaults, logging, and Method Servers.
• Intermediate proficiency in Windchill Business Administration, Policy Administration, Lifecycle development, Workflow definition, OIRs, report creation, and container definition.
• Experience in the systems administration of production Windchill PLM systems.
• Familiarity with CAD data management and other product data content management.
• Ability to configure and manage Windchill Visualization Services.
• Understanding of product development, manufacturing, and supply chain business processes.
• Knowledge of solutions development methodologies (e.g., DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.) is advantageous.
• Must possess a creative problem-solving approach, focusing on details while maintaining a broader perspective.
