Platform Support Engineer, Junior/Middle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Providing technical support to developers utilizing the IDP (Internal Developer Platform).

• Investigating incidents and issues in the production environment related to platform services.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting workloads, deployments in Kubernetes, and cloud resources.

• Assisting engineers with onboarding and familiarization with the platform.

• Analyzing recurring support requests and suggesting improvements.

• Maintaining platform documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

• Performing operational tasks such as provisioning infrastructure, managing access, onboarding services, and administrating Kafka and databases, as well as managing cloud resources.

• Participating in platform incident response and conducting postmortem analyses.

• Collaborating with Platform Engineers to automate repetitive operational tasks.

• Seeking opportunities for implementing self-service and automation within the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or infrastructure support.

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services.

• Proficiency in Git.

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts.

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Proficient written English skills.
