Platform Engineering Lead Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in designing platform solutions and integration strategies.

• Conduct hands-on validation and testing of APIs using tools such as Postman.

• Aid in planning for Azure migration, ensuring environmental readiness, and executing cutover processes.

• Coordinate the readiness for DevOps, including repo access, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment procedures.

• Support the planning and validation of data migration, taking into account PHI/PII considerations.

• Identify risks, obstacles, and dependencies across various environments, security aspects, and integrations.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to convert business requirements into actionable solutions.

• Create technical documentation, maintain decision logs, and provide updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in the field.

• Practical experience with APIs and integrations.

• Experience with Azure or cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, repositories, and deployments.

• Capability to execute within platform delivery, not limited to architectural roles.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work directly with engineers for debugging, validation, and iteration purposes.

• Proficient in communicating with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to document risks, decisions, and dependencies with clarity.
