Platform Engineer – Platform Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• The Platform Solutions team develops essential internal software services that operate on our cloud infrastructure, acting as the high-performance foundation for all product teams.

• Our efforts significantly influence platform security and reliability by managing organization-wide scale for vital functions such as real-time bot detection, advanced rate limiting, and traffic priority management.

• As a Platform Engineer, you will approach the platform as a product—designing, coding, and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency services from the ground up.

• You will work alongside engineers throughout the organization to create resilient, code-driven solutions that safeguard our uptime and enhance developer productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go (preferred), Java, Python, C#, or a similar language.

• Practical experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SQS).

• Familiarity with best practices in cloud-native system design.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation (preferred), Terraform, or Pulumi.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS).

• Knowledge of networking concepts, security, and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with web concepts and security, including OAuth, SAML, CORS, Cookies, and HTTP security.

• 💵 This position offers a base salary range between $80k and $120k USD, varying based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and interview performance.
