Platform Engineer – Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive technical architecture of a Microsoft AI and data platform focused on Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform.

• Lead the design of foundational governance, security architecture, access control models, environment strategies, and the implementation of DLP policies.

• Accountable for continuous capacity management and performance monitoring, ensuring the platform operates securely, in compliance, and at optimal utilization throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in a Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Data Platform position.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, for effective stakeholder communication and technical documentation.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, including architecture, configuration, and operational management.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform in an enterprise environment.

• Capability to design and implement environment strategies across workspaces and platform layers.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, encompassing identity, networking, security services, and integration patterns.

• Knowledge of Azure governance tools such as Azure Policy, RBAC, Entra ID (Azure AD), and associated services.

• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing security architecture and access control models (including roles, permissions, and entitlements).

• Experience in implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies within Microsoft environments.

• Understanding of compliant data operations and regulatory alignment in enterprise platform settings.

• Background in capacity management and performance monitoring for data and analytics platforms.

• Ability to ensure operational stability and enhance platform reliability at scale.
