Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop AI-driven platform tools that pinpoint the underlying causes of recurring operational tasks (KTLO), automate mundane activities, and suggest long-term engineering enhancements.

• Design an internal developer platform that includes a software catalog, a service ownership model, and an engineering portal that teams genuinely find enjoyable.

• Enhance the developer experience by creating workflows, automation, and self-service infrastructure that minimize cognitive load, facilitate onboarding, and eliminate frequent sources of engineering friction.

• Utilize LLMs and AI agents to streamline platform operations, incident response, documentation, engineering assistance, and developer workflows.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify gaps in the platform, enhance reliability, and construct scalable infrastructure that allows product teams to concentrate on delivering value to customers.

• Innovative engineers who excel in high-agency, fast-paced environments.

• Proven experience in platform engineering, developer infrastructure, DevEx, SRE, or internal tooling.

• You have been an early engineering hire, a founder, or have created and launched significant side projects from the ground up.

• Strong systems thinking with a commitment to enhancing engineering productivity through strategic tooling and automation.

• Experience in utilizing LLMs, AI agents, and agentic workflows to address real engineering challenges.

• Proficient in working across infrastructure, backend systems, and developer tools.
