This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Design and manage platform-focused core services that support high-scale distributed systems within OnePay’s product ecosystem.

• Architect, develop, and oversee Kafka-driven event streaming systems for real-time data transactions and essential financial workflows.

• Create internal developer tools and shared infrastructure aimed at enhancing engineering efficiency, reliability, and observability.

• Develop and refine frameworks for building and orchestrating autonomous applications and intelligent, automated workflows.

• Collaborate with engineering, data, and AI teams to tackle complex distributed computing challenges in a secure, cloud-native AWS environment.

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering within fintech, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems settings.

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, operating, and scaling Kafka-based event-driven architectures.

• Profound knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and high-availability platform services.

• Proven experience in AWS cloud environments and in constructing cloud-native infrastructure.

• Experience in building developer platforms, internal tools, or frameworks that empower other engineers to work more efficiently.

• Strong drive and proactive approach.

• Familiarity with contemporary software engineering practices; specific technology stack experience is not mandatory.

• Must have authorization to work legally in the United States.
