This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure systems for Laurel’s AI-driven platform.
• Oversee and enhance AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure along with Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Manage services related to Identity, Configuration, Routing, and Auditing.
• Create and sustain high-performance CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting systems for maintaining system health.
• Establish organization-wide on-call and incident response protocols.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and enhance cost efficiency in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Develop internal tools for infrastructure provisioning, management, and streamlined development processes.
• Iterate on foundational infrastructure patterns and provide guidance to teams on targeted solutions.
• Work on intricate networking tasks, including a Golang-based edge router, and orchestrate canary deployments.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and integrate emerging technologies.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Platform, Infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Capability to independently design and implement complex systems with minimal supervision.
• Extensive experience with APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Development experience in Terraform, Go, and TypeScript.
• Previous experience in startup environments.
• Significant experience in Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Experience in participating in a regular engineering on-call rotation.
• Familiarity with CI tooling/platforms and build systems.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues in unfamiliar codebases using logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
