Platform Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for your regional business strategy to achieve new business objectives and enhance adviser engagement.

• Establish solid, long-lasting relationships with financial advisers and firms in your region utilizing a structured, data-driven methodology.

• Work in tandem with Business Development Consultants and Support teams to ensure consistent performance across the region.

• Advocate for AJ Bell’s comprehensive range of investment solutions, including MPS, passive funds, and our award-winning platform.

• Conduct engaging presentations, seminars, and technical sessions for advisers to highlight AJ Bell’s offerings.

• Manage the onboarding process for new firms, guaranteeing a seamless and positive experience.

• Utilize tools like Financial Express and Touchstone to discover new opportunities and track performance metrics.

• Sustain relationships with key investment partners and fund groups to optimize regional opportunities.

• Ensure all actions comply with Consumer Duty principles and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a field sales or business development position within the investment platform or financial services sector.

• Strong connections with IFA and adviser firm networks.

• Comprehensive knowledge of platform propositions, SIPP, and investment solutions.

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Desirable).

• Familiarity with AJ Bell’s platform, investment solutions, and tools such as Bulk Dealing and Model Portfolios (Desirable).

• Exceptional planning, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
