This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Utilize proprietary software applications to contribute input/labels on specified projects.

• Assist in ensuring the delivery of high-quality curated data.

• Play a crucial role in aiding and participating in the training of new tasks, collaborating closely with the technical team to guarantee the successful development and execution of innovative initiatives/technologies.

• Collaborate with the technical team to enhance the design of efficient annotation tools.

• Address challenges that promote innovation in physics by directing AI models to advance research in specialized fields, thereby improving outcomes in scientific discovery and application.

• Select problems from diverse areas within physics that correspond with your expertise, where you can confidently offer detailed solutions and assess model responses.

• Consistently interpret, analyze, and perform tasks based on provided instructions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in physics or a closely related discipline.

• Proficiency in one or more subfields of physics, including but not limited to: condensed matter physics, high energy physics, nuclear physics, atomic/molecular/optical physics, quantum computing and information, computational physics, mathematical physics, and interdisciplinary physics (such as biophysics).

• Competence in reading and writing in both informal and formal English.

• Essential strong capability to navigate various information resources, databases, and online platforms.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Solid reading comprehension abilities coupled with the capacity to exercise independent judgment even when faced with limited data/material.

• Strong enthusiasm for and dedication to technological advancements and innovation.
