This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop sophisticated physics problems aimed at training and evaluating cutting-edge AI systems.
• Design deterministic challenges that yield a single correct solution.
• Produce comprehensive, verified solutions and thoroughly document the reasoning process involved.
• Create problems that assess deep physical reasoning and multi-step analytical skills, rather than mere memorization.
• Utilize Python or specialized tools, where applicable, to construct simulations, models, or computational workflows.
• Ensure all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and articulated clearly in English.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Strong experience in research or industry, focusing on theoretical, experimental, or computational physics.
• Proficient in Python, with familiarity in scientific libraries such as numpy, scipy, or similar.
• Solid grasp of modeling, simulation, numerical methods, and complex problem-solving techniques.
• Capability to design original and challenging problems that mirror real physics workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail and technical writing proficiency in English.
• Preferred: Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software (e.g., finite element tools, circuit simulators, symbolic systems).
• Background in fields such as computational physics, statistical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, or related areas.
• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, benchmarking, or crafting technical assessments.
