This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Provide exceptional, patient-focused, virtual-first primary care to individuals throughout the United States via video consultations, live chat, and secure messaging.
β’ Perform thorough virtual evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
β’ Oversee and coordinate care for chronic conditions.
β’ Offer preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to enhance overall well-being.
β’ Order and analyze diagnostic tests and lab results.
β’ Prescribe medications in compliance with state and federal laws.
β’ Manage referrals and prior authorizations.
β’ Carry out administrative duties, including documenting tasks and communications within the electronic medical record (EMR).
β’ Complete compliance, continuing medical education (CME), and licensing responsibilities promptly.
β’ Stay informed about current clinical knowledge and procedures, including EMR platform updates, through meetings, training, or other resources.
β’ Engage in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives.
β’ Achieve or surpass established performance metrics related to patient satisfaction, documentation accuracy, response times, clinical quality measures, and productivity benchmarks.
β’ Act as a collaborating physician for designated Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart reviews, care consultations, and mentorship.
β’ Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
β’ An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
β’ A current, unrestricted medical license with active board certification in Family Medicine.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience following residency; telehealth experience is highly preferred.
β’ Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, along with 5 additional state licenses.
β’ Preference for candidates eligible for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states.
β’ Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
β’ Availability to work weekends and designated holidays as part of the regular schedule.
β’ Strong understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements pertaining to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers.
β’ Ability to work independently while managing a high volume of patient interactions through video and chat.
β’ Proficiency in navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems, with flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies including AI-driven tools and digital platforms.
β’ Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the capacity to effectively manage time in a remote work setting; reliable high-speed internet access is mandatory.
