This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Facilitate peer-to-peer (concurrent denial) discussions with medical insurance providers and Physician Advisors.
• Record payer contact activities and scheduling statuses in the Physician Advisory Portal.
• Keep client, Physician Advisor, and contact records updated across internal systems.
• Manage communication between Physician Advisors, payers, and clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new Physician Advisors, which includes documentation, equipment coordination, training logistics, and follow-ups.
• Help develop and document standardized processes and procedures.
• Provide operational assistance to remote Physician Advisors, including EMR access setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, aiding in data collection, reporting, and special projects.
• Deliver updates and information during team meetings as required.
• Manage incoming calls, correspondence, mail, and administrative communications.
• Process and resolve returned or undeliverable mail within client systems.
• Oversee calendar management and expense reporting for Physician Advisory leadership.
• Safeguard and disclose patients’ PHI in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience is necessary.
• 1–2 years of familiarity with medical terminology is required.
• Knowledge of healthcare administration is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in using standard computer hardware, email, and internet resources.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills; capable of exercising sound judgment and making decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High degree of integrity and dependability, along with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have a smartphone or electronic device that can download applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
