Physician Reviewer – Orthopedic Spine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assess medical records to ascertain the medical necessity of services.

• Apply state-specific workers’ compensation regulations and nationally accepted standards.

• Provide clear, concise, and well-supported decisions.

• Conduct reviews within the stipulated timeframes (generally 1–5 business days).

• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions as necessary (arranged by Dane Street).

• Prepare addenda when new information is available.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas.

• Current engagement in clinical practice.
