Physician – Full-Time, Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide consultations through phone, video, or asynchronous methods in accordance with state telemedicine laws.

• Deliver care utilizing our tailored EMR system: reviewing patient records, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and offering lifestyle advice.

• Adhere to best practices and company-specific guidelines for diagnosis, treatment, and documentation.

• Address patient inquiries regarding their treatment and deliver high-quality counseling.

• Engage in practice administration (~30%) by performing peer-reviewed audits, interviewing prospective practitioners, and supporting the onboarding and training of new team members through our onboarding buddy program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certification in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (other specialties may be considered).

• Board certification in Obesity Medicine or board eligibility, with an expectation to take the exam in 2026.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience.

• Experience in telemedicine and comfort with asynchronous care delivery.

• Familiarity with weight management and GLP-1 medications is advantageous.

• At least 10 active state medical licenses, including one from the following states: California, Florida, New York, Texas, Georgia, and at least one from these states: Virginia, Kansas, Minnesota, Delaware, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wyoming.

• Openness to acquiring additional medical licenses based on practice requirements.

• IMLC licensed or eligible status is a plus.
