
Physician Assistant – Virtual Visit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform thorough evaluations of patients, including gathering medical history and conducting virtual physical examinations.
• Identify and manage acute medical issues within the urgent care framework.
• Formulate and execute treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Order and analyze laboratory tests as necessary.
• Accurately and efficiently document all patient interactions within the Epic system.
• Deliver patient education, provide discharge instructions, and offer follow-up recommendations.
• Appropriately escalate care to in-person or emergency services when required.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with the team and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board certification in the relevant specialty is required.
• Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is preferred.
• Proficient in telehealth and electronic health record systems, with a preference for Epic.
• Capability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours.
• Ability to work remotely from a home office in a state that is approved/licensed.
• Must maintain a private workspace that complies with HIPAA standards.
