📋 Description

• **JOB SUMMARY**

• The Customer Service Representative is tasked with the receipt of new cases and ensuring the accurate drafting and setup within the system. The CSR is also responsible for following directions and facilitating the case assignment and scheduling process.

• **MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

• *Handling Receipt of New Cases:*

• - Intake new cases and review/verify information and requests. Draft cases by inputting information into the Dane Street system, AccessDS.

• - Collaborate with clients to address any missing information necessary for processing claims.

• - Organize and compile a medical document listing if required by the client, in accordance with any special handling instructions.

• *Assignment of Cases:*

• - Assign/schedule new cases to physicians for review, ensuring compatibility based on location, reviewer availability, specific guidelines, jurisdictional requirements, and other client specifications.

• - Confirm that the assigned physician has no potential conflicts of interest with the case assignment.

• *Oversight of Cases:*

• - Monitor, process, and track cases to ensure deadlines are met.

• *Client Interaction:*

• - Regularly update clients on the status of cases in progress.

• - Communicate any questions regarding referral information to ensure that the assigned reviewer receives proper documentation and information.

• - Ensure that the client receives the appropriate documentation for specified cases.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• **EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:**

• An Associate’s Degree is preferred.

• **JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:**

• Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance environment is preferred.

• **JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:**

• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with a solid understanding of company business lines. Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time effectively, and meet specific deadlines. Proficiency in computer literacy and typing skills is essential.

• **WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

• Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc., required to perform the duties listed above. Long durations of sitting and computer work.

• **WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

• Must supply and support their own internet services.

• Maintaining a consistent internet connection is mandatory for all work-from-home positions.
