This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• In this position, you will take charge of addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding all products and services through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat.
• Manage a high volume of incoming calls promptly.
• Work independently without a script while maintaining control of the call.
• Identify customers' needs, clarify details, research, and provide solutions or alternatives.
• Utilize company and client resources to effectively manage calls.
• Recognize upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Actively engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring quality.
• Efficiently switch between tasks without losing efficiency or composure.
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask using various systems based on the client's working environment.
• Successfully complete all training sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patience and empathy.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
• Be present at your workstation, ensuring punctuality and attendance during all scheduled hours.
• Uphold personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all areas.
• Be willing to cross-train as needed.
• Adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and security in accordance with Five Star Call Centers policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or customer support.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office environment is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Technically adept (capable of navigating multiple browsers and systems using dual monitors).
• Previous experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Prior remote work experience is advantageous.
• Quick learner who can work independently.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A background check and drug screening in accordance with state and federal laws are required.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Paid Training - typically lasting 3 weeks from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (CST).
• Eligible for benefits starting on the 1st of the month after 60 days.
