Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Assessing medical records for accuracy and relevance

• Creating clear and concise clinical summaries

• Offering independent medical opinions in response to specific inquiries from clients

• Performing evidence-based clinical evaluations

• Engaging in peer-to-peer discussions when required

• Addressing client-specific inquiries related to diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation services, and functional outcomes

• Implementing current clinical guidelines and standards of care in all reviews

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

• Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

• Valid, unrestricted medical license in Connecticut

• Active clinical practice or recent experience in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

• At least 5 years of clinical experience post-residency

• Preferred experience in evaluating musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, pain management, and functional impairment cases

• Capability to attend mandatory orientation and training sessions

• Maintain all relevant licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional requirements necessary for reviewer services
