Physical Health Specialist – Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assist adults in seeking lifestyle support through a collaborative approach in Pulse Global's three-way conversation, involving members and Phoenix, our AI lifestyle assistant, primarily via in-app chat.

• Deliver personalized 1-to-1 support to members through chat messaging and phone/video calls, focusing on the four lifestyle pillars: movement and activity (including resistance training), nutrition, sleep, and stress management.

• Provide accountability, motivation, and tailored lifestyle guidance to aid members in developing sustainable habits.

• Guide members with movement prompts, resistance training routines, breathwork techniques, and relaxation content.

• Relay qualitative feedback from members to the product and clinical teams to enhance user experience.

• Manage personalized care plans to ensure that members remain engaged with their programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree ("Licenciatura") in Physical Therapy (240 ECTS / 4-year programme).

• Current registration and professional license with "Ordem dos Fisioterapeutas" (OF).

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in treating musculoskeletal disorders.

• Proficient in English (both written and verbal) — this is essential as most member interactions are in English.

• Ability to communicate in Portuguese, to provide occasional support to Portuguese-speaking members.

• Excellent written communication skills — conveying warmth, clarity, and motivation through digital chat interfaces.

• Proven experience in behavioral coaching, including development of lifestyle habits, motivational interviewing, and long-term wellness support.

• Comfortable working within a defined wellness framework and appropriately redirecting clinical inquiries.

• - A plus if you possess:

• Experience in lifestyle or wellness coaching (e.g., weight management, behavior change).

• Familiarity with digital health or AI-assisted tools.
