This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Accountable for managing all facets of first and third-party Property Damage claims resulting from incidents involving tractor-trailers.
• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Cargo claims.
• Must be flexible to meet various business needs and ready to support special claims projects as well as other assigned duties.
• Engage in regular claims evaluations with both internal and external clients.
• Keep up-to-date with insurance agreements and industry developments by actively maintaining necessary adjuster licenses.
• Offer technical expertise in response to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Background in analyzing, determining, and applying coverage for Commercial Trucking claims.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth setting with the ability to collaborate across various levels of the organization.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with strong negotiation abilities.
• Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to change, embrace uncertainty, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Eagerness to look beyond daily tasks to ensure continuous learning and growth in a startup environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Trucking is preferred.
• Extensive experience in all technical aspects of Commercial Auto, including but not limited to Physical Damage, Auto Liability, First Party Medical/Personal Injury Protection, Motor Truck Cargo, and Truckers General Liability.
• College degree required.
• Active Adjusters License is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Snapsheet, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with self-insured retention (SIR), large deductibles, and claims involving Independent Owner Operators (IOO).
