PHP Developer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain web applications utilizing PHP.

• Architect and deploy cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

• Create and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems effectively.

• Produce clean, testable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems proactively.

• Implement security best practices within application and cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with enterprise clients globally through Lifted.

• Provide proactive updates and deliverables to clients and Lifted management.

• Ensure adherence to Lifted’s standards for quality, security, and client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in PHP development.

• Strong expertise in PHP versions 7/8 and above.

• Proficient in MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.

• Extensive experience in REST API development.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with Azure App Services.

• Knowledge of Azure Functions.

• Experience with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.

• Proficient in Azure Storage.

• Comfortable using Azure DevOps.

• Ability to provide personal hardware and software at one's own expense.

• Must have a Windows 11 Pro compatible laptop/PC with the latest updates installed and activated with a legitimate product key.

• At least 16GB of RAM required.

• An Intel 8th generation (Coffee Lake or newer) processor or an equivalent AMD processor.

• TPM 2.0 support is required.

• A minimum of 160GB SSD with at least 64GB of free partition space.

• A wired LAN connection is mandatory; WiFi connections to provided systems are not allowed.

• Minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps for both upload and download.

• Use of Microsoft Defender only; third-party antivirus software is not permissible.

• A Microsoft Teams-compatible webcam with a resolution of at least 720p is required.

• A USB 3.0 Microsoft Teams-compliant microphone and headset with background noise cancellation must be provided.

• At least one monitor with a resolution of 1368x720 or higher is necessary.

• Dual monitors are highly recommended and preferred.
