This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Manager of Philanthropy Coordination serves as a vital cross-functional strategist and convener within the Philanthropy Division, collaborating throughout UUSA.
• This position plays a crucial role in promoting organization-wide initiatives aimed at achieving UUSA’s ambitious target of generating $1 billion in impact annually.
• Implement strategic priorities that align across divisions and intersect with marketing, branding, thought leadership, advocacy, and programmatic areas.
• Develop, prioritize, and execute strategies that span Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications, Executive Office, Public Affairs, and Programs.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to eliminate silos among teams and advance common objectives.
• Oversee specific Philanthropy initiatives and thematic strategies to ensure timely outputs, accountability for the project team, and foster consensus within the group.
• Conduct meetings and strategy sessions by posing impactful questions to encourage agreement and alignment among essential stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, project management, communications, or related areas is necessary.
• A strong capability to manage multiple priorities, adapt swiftly, and navigate through change is essential.
• Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically, with a passion for innovation.
• Experience in facilitating meetings and collaborating with stakeholders across all levels.
• Highly organized with excellent project management and communication skills.
• A client-service mindset and strong relationship-building skills are vital.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems (BBCRM preferred) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with full-funnel and inclusive philanthropy is preferred.
• A commitment to UNICEF USA’s mission; experience in international development or humanitarian work is a plus.
