PhD Intern – AI/ML/NLP Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage your advanced technical knowledge to address intricate, real-world challenges.

• Work alongside senior engineers, product managers, and domain specialists to comprehend our customers' requirements and obstacles.

• Utilize your research abilities to create, code, and test innovative AI/ML solutions.

• Design, assess, and refine AI/ML models (including LLMs) aimed at resolving a fundamental business issue.

• Examine current platforms to pinpoint limitations and suggest avenues for algorithmic or systems-level enhancements.

• Acquire practical experience with our production systems, encompassing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Share your insights and project results with the team and key stakeholders at the conclusion of your internship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Proven research experience in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Generative AI (e.g., publications, conference papers, or substantial project involvement).

• Proficient programming skills in at least one of our primary languages: Python, Java, C#, or GoLang.

• In-depth knowledge of contemporary ML algorithms, platforms, and libraries (including deep learning and LLMs).

• Strong understanding of probability and statistical concepts (e.g., distributions, Bayesian inference, maximum likelihood estimation).

• A collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills, with the capability to transform complex research into practical applications.

• Demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills and a commitment to learning and achieving excellence.
