Pharmacy Technician Associate, Inbound Call

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Respond to and prioritize incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, contact center representatives, and internal teams by confirming caller information, evaluating needs, and identifying the correct resolution, transfer, or escalation pathway.

• Address non-clinical pharmacy inquiries within the technician's scope, direct General Verbal Line calls, and conduct warm transfers to pharmacists for clinical consultations or medication-specific issues.

• Accurately and promptly document interactions, chart notes, customer contact information, call outcomes, and dispositions in pharmacy systems.

• Confirm and update prescription details, patient profiles, medication and allergy information, and other pharmacy-related data in internal systems.

• Provide a professional patient experience while adhering to HIPAA, privacy, and quality standards, collaborating with pharmacists and operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Valid Pharmacy Technician License.

• Must be a resident of Ohio, Florida, or Indiana.

• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in pharmacy, healthcare, or call center settings.

• Proven proficiency in computer skills and accuracy in data entry.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Access to cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed.
