
Pharmacy Technician – Accredo Specialty Pharmacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Support patients in obtaining life-sustaining medications for rare and/or chronic illnesses.
• Collaborate with patients, insurance providers, and various departments to facilitate the processing of prescription orders.
• Ensure medications are shipped promptly.
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls to collect patient information and arrange initial shipments.
• Generate requests and make calls to healthcare providers and doctors’ offices for prescription inquiries.
• Execute data-entry tasks focused on accuracy.
• Input prescriptions accurately into the system.
• Resolve non-clinical issues in collaboration with pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Offer patients assistance regarding medication coverage.
• Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is mandatory; experience in phone communication is advantageous.
• A valid Pharmacy Technician license in either Arizona or Pennsylvania is required; a trainee license may be accepted.
• Certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills and data entry, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
• Access to high-speed internet with a wired Ethernet connection is necessary.
• A private and quiet workspace is essential.
• Cable broadband or fiber-optic internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed is required.
