Pharmacy Support Specialist – Tues-Fri 2-1030pm, Sat 9-530

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assists with enrollment for new PACE participants.

• Communicates pharmacy benefit details to network pharmacies associated with facilities housing CareKinesis PACE participants.

• Coordinates facility discharges to ensure medication reconciliation is completed and home delivery is reinstated.

• Provides help desk assistance to network pharmacies.

• Educates PACE staff on CareKinesis and network pharmacy procedures for facility participants.

• Initiates outbound calls to collect or confirm information essential for processing customer requests or enhancing pharmacy operations.

• Organizes and arranges couriers to guarantee prompt medication delivery.

• Makes outgoing calls to verify that participants have received their medications.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma is required.

• At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

• Capable of effective and professional communication through written, verbal, and interpersonal skills when interacting with employees, clients, or agency representatives.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong computer skills to navigate proprietary and other software.

• Must possess a strong patient-centered focus.

• Exceptional communication abilities, particularly over the phone.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Familiarity with clinical terminology and its implications.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.
