This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Engage directly with patients to promote generic medication use and facilitate therapy modifications.
• Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide educational support.
• Articulate the advantages of generics or suitable therapies to patients.
• Collaborate with the Specialty Projects Team to execute generic conversions or therapy adjustments on selected medications.
• Conduct adherence outreach to assist patients in staying compliant with their treatment plans.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communications with patients, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively gather patient and order details.
• Utilize a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement protocols for dispensing.
• Process new patient referrals efficiently.
• Offer customer education and consistently evaluate and identify issues.
• Refer pertinent matters to a pharmacist as needed.
• Address patient inquiries on the first call while delivering compassionate customer service.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in addressing and resolving customer needs via phone.
• Proven ability to multitask while assisting customers, retrieving information, and delivering communication.
• Must be a resident of Pennsylvania.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Compliance with HIPAA and governmental regulations is essential.
• Capability to maintain personal internet speeds that meet approved standards for meetings.
• Ability to create and maintain a secure, distraction-free workspace.
• Preferred: At least 6 months of experience in a high-volume call center or customer service setting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft, or similar software applications.
• Completion of the Virtual Job Tryout is mandatory as part of the application process.
