
Pharmacy Retail Home Infusion Billing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +1 more state.
β’ Review and finalize coding, claims, and denials for medications, supplies, and diagnoses within the pharmacy.
β’ Maintain the payer database, incorporate new payers, and assign pricing contracts.
β’ Collaborate with payers to verify eligibility.
β’ Evaluate the provider database to ensure that license information is both complete and accurate.
β’ Assess pharmacists' progress notes for appropriate documentation.
β’ Monitor claims and denials to evaluate outstanding accounts receivable.
β’ Stay updated on evolving payer regulations through payer updates, industry publications, and listservs related to home infusion.
β’ Assist in generating statistical reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
β’ Provide consultation for hospital-based ground services as required.
β’ Utilize analytical software to create custom accounts receivable or denials reports.
β’ An Associate's degree in health care or a business-related field is required.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Four years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of education.
β’ A minimum of three years of experience in pharmacy and medical billing is necessary.
β’ Certification as a pharmacy technician, coder, or medical biller is preferred.
