Pharmacy Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering pharmacist care by collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care, education, research, and patient safety.

• Engages in promoting guidelines and policies and aids in the formulation of programmatic enhancements to elevate patient care across the health system.

• Offers educational support to patients, healthcare providers, students, residents, and other stakeholders.

• Takes on a leadership position within the pharmacy profession and in quality improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold valid licensure as mandated by the state board where services will be rendered: MD: Licensed Pharmacist through the Maryland Board of Pharmacy; OH: Licensed Pharmacist through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy; PA: Licensed Pharmacist through the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy; WV: Licensed Pharmacist through the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy.

• Possession of an advanced degree (Master of Public Health or a related field).

• Completion of residency training OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a pharmacist.
