Pharmacy Care Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Make inbound or outbound telephone calls to patients concerning intricate Specialty medication orders, benefits verification, and enrollment of new patients.

• Organize and manage requests for new and refill order shipments.

• Gather necessary information to confirm insurance coverage for patient medication orders.

• Validate eligibility, prior authorization, and other reimbursement prerequisites prior to shipment.

• Aid in the enrollment and monitoring of new customer referrals.

• Explain CVS/Specialty services to new clients.

• Transfer or escalate clinical inquiries and issues to the staff pharmacist for resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in a customer service position managing and resolving a substantial volume of complex customer needs via phone.

• More than 1 year of experience working with Windows-based applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word), internet navigation, and email tools.

• At least 1 year of experience with computer keyboarding, skills, and proficiency.

• A direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router located within 7 feet of your computer.

• A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and 3 Mbps upload speed.

• A secure and private home workspace that is free from distractions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent professional experience.
