Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Serve as the officially designated Responsible Pharmacist for the organization’s regulatory import profile.

• Ensure that the facility's import activities consistently comply with the current SAHPRA regulations pertaining to Schedule 0 raw materials.

• Review, draft, and submit formal responses to SAHPRA compliance inquiries, ensuring meticulous tracking of all administrative documentation.

• Be available for on-site presence at the Laser Park facility to support annual SAHPRA inspection cycles.

• Manage regulatory document control to ensure that all logs of imported nutritional raw materials are accurate and readily accessible.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a fully registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

• Must possess valid and active professional indemnity insurance coverage.

• Have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of current SAHPRA regulatory enforcement frameworks and pharmaceutical import compliance protocols.

• Demonstrated capability to work independently as a contractor, efficiently managing flexible part-time hours.

• Access to reliable personal transportation to ensure mandatory physical attendance for annual inspections at the Honeydew, Johannesburg facility.

• Proficient in digital communication tools and cloud file-sharing platforms.

• Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook, for drafting official regulatory correspondence.

• Familiarity with SAHPRA e-submission portals or similar digital regulatory frameworks.
