Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Validate interactions, dosing, or contraindication findings against the comprehensive medication list and patient chart.

• Identify missed interactions, outdated patient data leading to incorrect dosages, and monograph guidance that has been replaced by newer Special Alerts.

• Assess if all active medications, current lab results, comorbidities, and the complete clinical picture are considered.

• Differentiate allowed treatments from suitable options for the individual patient.

• Ensure that accurate clinical conclusions are reflected in order updates, prescriber notifications, chart documentation, and communication with the care team.

• Participate in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems for Mercor's premier AI lab and its enterprise partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Regular use of UpToDate Lexidrug (or Lexicomp) in a current or recent position, ideally on a weekly basis or more.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional pharmacy experience.

• Experience in an inpatient or hospital setting is strongly preferred.

• Proficient in using Interactions, Trissel's, and monograph sections reflexively.

• Capability to recognize missed interactions, outdated dosage calculations, and obsolete guidance.

• Must possess a PharmD and an active pharmacy license, or equivalent verification-heavy clinical experience.

• Strong expertise in at least 2–3 specialized areas: Trissel's IV Compatibility; pediatric/weight-based dosing; Beers Criteria/geriatric precautions; pregnancy and lactation risk categories; REMS and prescribing/access restrictions; therapeutic class comparison; drug identification and patient education/multi-language handouts.

• Comfort in evaluating whether clinical findings were accurately documented in the chart, order, and communicated to the care team.

• Previous experience in data annotation, labeling, or AI evaluation is a plus.

• Must be an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
