Lead Pharmacy Technician, IPU

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily IPU operations and offer daily guidance to ensure service levels, accuracy, and productivity are maintained.

• Act as a resource for IPU team members by addressing process-related inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex matters as necessary.

• Spearhead onboarding, training, and continuous education while reinforcing protocols, tools, and best practices.

• Collaborate with Education and IPU leadership to create and sustain training materials and resources.

• Track workflow, productivity patterns, and operational performance to identify obstacles, resource requirements, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Manage scheduling, staffing coverage, and team communication.

• Aid in maintaining operational continuity and workload management.

• Provide assistance during peak volumes, staffing shortages, or urgent situations to uphold service levels and team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in IPU with a proven understanding of IPU processes and workflows.

• Capability to consistently and accurately perform IPU responsibilities while exercising sound judgment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience as a peer resource, trainer, preceptor, or informal team leader is preferred.

• A dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.

• Flexibility to accommodate evolving operational and scheduling requirements.

• CPhT or EXCPT certification is preferred.
