Pharmacist, 7on/7off, Overnight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote order entry and evaluate CPOE orders for accuracy.

• Ensure that all pharmacy staff licenses are acquired or renewed.

• Serve as a staff pharmacist as required.

• Provide consultations for physicians and nursing staff.

• Offer clinical medication dosing services.

• Assess and monitor patient profiles and lab results to ensure therapeutic effectiveness.

• Coordinate medication access in accordance with facility policies, as well as state and federal regulations.

• Deliver remote services to client patients to maintain continuity of care.

• Start with a floating overnight schedule and later shift to a 7-on/7-off schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid California pharmacist license is mandatory.

• Candidates must reside in California.

• Hold active pharmacy licenses in both the state of residence and the state where originally licensed.

• Ability to obtain reciprocity in additional states necessary for practice.

• Must be capable of reciprocating the license.

• An active CA license and the capacity to become licensed in Nevada and Wyoming are required.

• Preferred 2–4 years of clinical experience in a hospital inpatient setting.

• Proficient in operating various pharmacy information systems.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals.

• Willingness to work overnight shifts and transition to a 7-on/7-off schedule.
