This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Draft, review, and negotiate a significant volume of commercial agreements, such as Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), work orders, and change orders.
β’ Assist various business functions by managing a variety of contract types, including IT licenses, SaaS subscriptions, event and sponsorship agreements, and material transfer agreements (MTAs).
β’ Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal guidance on contract terms, risk distribution, and negotiation strategies.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Procurement, IT, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to meet daily contracting requirements.
β’ Support agreements related to manufacturing and supply chain, including those with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs), and distribution partners, as part of a broader commercial practice.
β’ Ensure contracts comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards within the pharmaceutical sector.
β’ Contribute to improvements in the contract process, including the creation of templates, playbooks, and scalable workflows.
β’ Oversee multiple concurrent matters with conflicting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
β’ 4β12+ years of experience in commercial contracting, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organizations.
β’ Strong, practical experience in drafting and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, work orders, and related commercial agreements in a high-volume context.
β’ Proven experience with a variety of agreement types, including IT/software agreements, vendor contracts, event/sponsorship agreements, and MTAs.
β’ Ability to function as a generalist supporting various business units, with comfort in transitioning among different contract types and stakeholders.
β’ Familiarity with manufacturing, supply, or distribution agreements is a plus, though not a primary focus.
β’ Demonstrated ability to independently manage a large portfolio of contracts efficiently and with sound judgment.
β’ Excellent communication skills, paired with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to advising business teams.
β’ Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent, along with an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
