This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Work collaboratively with neuroradiologists, physicists, scientists, software engineers, and operational experts on study documentation, scan acquisition, quality assurance, and image analysis.
• Assess, train, and provide support to PET and SPECT imaging facilities involved in neuroscience clinical trials.
• Oversee the implementation of advanced molecular imaging (PET and SPECT) acquisition across diverse imaging sites globally.
• Aid in the scripting, execution, and validation of extensive image processing and analysis workflows.
• Assist in the publication of imaging analysis outcomes and scientific contributions.
• Participate in innovation initiatives and support business development efforts.
• Read, comprehend, and comply with the organization's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Help establish, uphold, and enforce departmental standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address study-related or technical challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and scientific value.
• Support the preparation of abstracts and manuscripts for scientific dissemination.
• Engage in company-sponsored training and professional development initiatives.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• PhD in biomedical engineering, physics, neuroscience, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in molecular imaging, including PET, SPECT, and innovative tracers.
• Strong understanding of molecular imaging and nuclear medicine physics, along with terminology from various imaging vendors.
• Proven capability to manipulate, process, and analyze medical imaging data.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in intricate scientific or technical contexts.
• Programming knowledge (e.g., MATLAB, Python) is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality scientific work.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a global, cross-functional setting.
