This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for batch, near real-time, or streaming applications.

• Integrate various sources, including databases, APIs, files, documents, enterprise systems, and cloud environments.

• Create reliable data layers for analytics, AI applications, RAG, embeddings, and automation tasks.

• Implement processes for data ingestion, transformation, modeling, quality assurance, validation, and monitoring.

• Work with both structured and unstructured data, including documents, logs, tables, events, and transactional databases.

• Support data preparation for use by agents, models, semantic search engines, and intelligent applications.

• Implement governance practices, lineage tracking, data contracts, versioning, and documentation.

• Handle sensitive data following best practices for security, privacy, anonymization, and masking.

• Collaborate with teams in AI, Machine Learning, Platform, Product, and Full Stack to deliver data in the required format, timing, and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in data engineering within cloud, hybrid, or enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.

• Experience with Spark, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Data Factory, Glue, Kafka, or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and data modeling.

• Experience with ETL, ELT, orchestration, monitoring, and failure handling.

• Knowledge of data quality, testing, performance, and traceability.

• Ability to work with multiple data sources and formats.

• Attention to security, LGPD compliance, governance, and access control.

• Additional advantages: Experience with pipelines for RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and document preparation for AI.

• Knowledge of pgvector, hybrid search, semantic search, or context retrieval mechanisms.

• Experience with data catalogs, lineage, data observability, and data contracts.

• Experience with CDC, event-driven architecture, or streaming.

• Knowledge of DLP, information classification, masking, and anonymization.

• Experience in environments with multiple legacy systems and corporate security requirements.
