Personal Lines Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for clients throughout the sales process and oversee the transition from sale to implementation.

• Assist customers during onboarding, information collection, and policy configuration activities.

• Ensure that all necessary documentation, disclosures, and compliance obligations are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Act as the main point of contact throughout the implementation process until policies are successfully issued.

• Utilize Franklin Madison's multi-carrier quoting platform to create, compare, and present various insurance solutions.

• Assess carrier options based on customer needs, underwriting requirements, pricing, and coverage factors.

• Secure and place business with authorized carrier partners in accordance with licensing regulations and carrier guidelines.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of carrier appetites, product offerings, underwriting standards, and service expectations.

• Serve as the organization's expert on the personal lines quoting experience.

• Cultivate extensive knowledge of system functionalities, workflows, integrations, and user experiences.

• Identify bottlenecks, process deficiencies, and opportunities to enhance quote conversion, cycle times, and customer satisfaction.

• Document and sustain standard operating procedures for quoting, placement, and onboarding tasks.

• Suggest and implement workflow enhancements that boost efficiency and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with Sales to ensure a seamless transition from prospect acquisition to implementation.

• Work alongside Product, Technology, Compliance, and Operations teams to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Property & Casualty insurance license.

• Over 3 years of personal lines insurance experience in an agency, brokerage, MGA, carrier, or insurtech environment.

• Experience with comparative rating or multi-carrier quoting platforms.

• Knowledge of personal lines products such as auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella, and related coverages.

• Understanding of insurance placement, underwriting requirements, and the policy issuance process.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple client implementations concurrently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to analyze workflows and suggest process improvements.

• Preferred experience with digital insurance platforms or insurtech solutions.

• Experience in gathering business requirements and engaging in technology implementations.

• Familiarity with affinity, financial institution, or partnership-based insurance distribution models.

• Experience in training users and functioning as a subject matter expert.
