This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
β’ Draft, prepare, and review legal documents pertinent to personal injury cases, such as pleadings, motions, and affidavits. π
β’ Conduct thorough legal research, focusing on police records, medical files, and the discovery process. π
β’ Engage with clients to address their questions concerning personal injury claims. π
β’ Keep precise documentation of case-related information and ensure timely submissions. π
β’ Support attorneys with administrative duties and provide updates on case progress. π€
β’ Facilitate the collection and delivery of crucial case documents. π
β’ Possesses a minimum of one year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a U.S. Personal Injury law firm. πΌ
β’ Holds a bachelorβs degree in Law. π
β’ Is proficient in legal software such as Clio or MyCase (preferred). π»
β’ Is bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, in both spoken and written forms. π£οΈβοΈ
β’ Exhibits strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities. π£
β’ Can independently manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. πͺ
β’ Must reside permanently in Latin America. π
β’ Owns a reliable laptop (Windows or Mac, 2017 or newer) with a stable internet connection. π»
