This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Generate and dispatch claims-related correspondence or tasks while adhering to strict deadlines in accordance with state-specific compliance regulations.
• Keep all data-related fields current in the claims management system.
• Oversee and manage data fields in additional vendor systems.
• Comply with statutory regulations, HIPAA requirements, account protocols, as well as departmental policies and procedures.
• Address claim inquiries on behalf of the adjusters.
• Perform administrative duties to facilitate daily business operations.
• Maintain a well-organized filing system and database of documents within the claims management system.
• Collect all necessary documents to respond to subpoenas for records.
• Request claims checks in the system on behalf of the claims adjuster.
• Monitor and manage the SBQ (System Backlog Queue) to ensure timely processing of PIP claims and avoid delays.
• Review, route, and update documents and tasks within Perceptive, ensuring proper indexing and documentation of claim files.
• Create, assess, and distribute PEER Reports to assist with claim audits, compliance monitoring, and operational reporting.
• Process and address PEER Requests, ensuring that required documentation and information are submitted within specified timeframes.
• Manage the PIP Add-On Queue, accurately updating coverage, benefits, or related information for existing PIP claims.
• Organize and schedule Examinations Under Oath (EUO), including communication with claimants, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to PIP-related inquiries from internal teams, providers, and external parties, escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to Florida PIP statutes and internal claims handling guidelines.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Previous administrative experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in document handling and data entry.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in office software and database systems.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
