This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Create and implement performance, load, stress, and endurance testing protocols.
• Establish performance benchmarks and KPIs based on SLAs, SOW requirements, and user load models.
• Construct, configure, and sustain performance testing environments within AWS.
• Develop test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Perform baseline performance evaluations and capacity planning for CMM components.
• Work collaboratively with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize configurations.
• Evaluate test outcomes and generate performance reports with suggestions for optimization.
• Ensure that releases comply with federal performance and reliability standards prior to production deployment.
• Assist in failover and stress testing to validate fault tolerance and scalability.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and provide performance insights during sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in integration, regression, and system testing utilizing automated testing tools for web-based applications.
• More than 5 years of experience in software performance testing and engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience with cloud-based or distributed systems.
• Proficient in writing test cases and plans, executing test scripts, reporting defects, and creating test result reports.
• Experience throughout the entire QA life cycle and QA documentation processes.
• Strong skills in JavaScript for scripting, test development, and automation.
• Familiarity with JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or K6.
• In-depth knowledge of performance engineering principles, concurrency modeling, resource utilization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in testing AWS environments, including EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, and RDS.
• Working knowledge of NodeJS, REST APIs, microservices, and ReactJS.
• Experience in incorporating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and profiling data.
• Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Grafana.
• Experience in performance testing for federal or enterprise-scale applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Understanding of network performance testing and distributed tracing.
• Exposure to AI-driven performance analytics or predictive capacity modeling.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Excellent skills in presentation, communication, analysis, documentation, problem-solving, and making recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate with high-level customer stakeholders and cultivate customer relationships.
• Experience with industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Eligible to obtain a position of Public Trust with the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.
• Must qualify as a US Person: Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen.
• Travel requirement of less than 10%.
• Public Trust/Other Required: BI Full 6C (T4).

• Preferred or beneficial certifications include ISTQB Performance Testing Certification (CT-PT), AWS Certified Solutions Architect–Associate or DevOps Engineer, SAFe Practitioner (SPC/SSM), and Performance Engineering Certification.
